Business and Recreation Expo Blog

The Shenango Valley and Mercer Area Chambers of Commerce hosted the 1st annual Business and Recreational Expo on February 11th.  The event was held at the Park Inn by Radisson.  We had coverage in The Herald, a local newspaper, as well as promotion in the Youngstown Business Journal.  There had been more than 400 shares of the event on Facebook.  Over 700 people attended the event, along with more than 30 vendors.  From Juniper Village at the Shenango Inn, Carole Moberly, Erin Slaven and Monica Jones attended.  We did a gift basket which included wine, chocolates and a Swarovski crystal necklace.  Our Executive Chef Nathan Reed prepared chocolate truffles for us that went over well with the attendees.
